5 Days of Fun.Friends.Booze.Dance.Thailand.Handsome.Men.Shopping.Food.Sawadeeka!!!
Dead beat from Retail Therapy...
Day 0: Highlight Hair/Meeting up/ ClubbingTook half a day off and left work at 12pm to go Bak Kut Teh lunch with Kokting and the rest. That stall at Zion Road really has nice soup. I like it. I always fantasize about the soup at Zion Road + Bak Kut at Alexander!! Great combo - Nice and yummy!! After lunch, I went to city hall to meet up with Fiona. Since I was early, I decided to shop around at Mango and M)phosis. Shopping on a weekday afternoon is real fun and enjoyable! Quiet and nice!! I will have more chances of doing this when i start school!!When Fio came, we went straight to Funan to cut and highlight my hair. Paying only $80 for it..so I am excited!! I had always wanted to highlight my hair, but nv had the chance to.. Now is finally the time!! At the salon, the lady who did my hair was chatty and nice..the only bad thing was that she was doing two customers at the same time..so she left me sitting around for quite some time. Well, time was not my major issue. I was pretty worried that my hair will turn out tooo gold!! So i sat with my fingers crossed all the time....When my hair was done(after a long 4hrs), I was elated...The highlights were nice..at least I loved it!! I like the orange and brown tones...nice nice!!! Met up with the rest of the gals and took a cabbie down to Zouk. Had to give Dbl 0 a pass because the NTU bash starts at 1030..I was a little disappointed..but who cares...we were still going to drink and drink and drink...haha...The cheapo plan was to enter by Phuture so that we can save the $16 for the ticket. At the door, my Delifrance bread was confiscated...Com'on...as if I will be seen eating bread in Zouk!! And then this very-short-but-think-he-is-very-handsome-and-cool kuku bouncer tried to make things difficult for me...he refused to stamp my hand!! Duh~..and why?? Because I asked (a little quite loudly) "What does he want?" just when i entered. By that, I actually meant to ask if we needed to surrender or show anything to the bouncers...Then this sucker-moron-son-of-a-bitch said, "What do i want? You dun wanna a chop?" And then he pushed my hand away and chopped someone behind me...*Fucking Jackass!!* I gave him a glare and walked away...One thing and another happened and we had to leave Phuture...and then something and another happened and we had to enter Phuture again. Damned! I dreaded that. I cannot bear to see that jackass again...see that smirk when he say "Dun wanna chop huh?" I really wanted to kick him in his groin and walk away....Luckily, he was not doing the stamping by then...but from the corner of my eyes, I saw his eyes light up when he saw me...but nevertheless, he did not try anything funny!! Mambo night is fun...many sing-alongs..Drinking is fun too....After two tequila shots and some apple shooters, I got a bit high and was ready to party....After that, I had beer and tequila pop...what a combo.....!! But no, I wasn't drunk...But it was fun anyhow!!! =)Day 1: Flying to Bangkok

Surviving only on 4hrs of sleep, I dragged myself to the airport on bus 858. Surprisingly, I was very very awake...Met up with the gals (namely Michie, Deborah and PeiQi) at the airport. The plane was delayed by half an hour. Not a good sign!! But other than that, everything went quite smoothly...The Thai air steward was damn shuai!! His name is Chachana..haha..yes..his name is funny but he is shuai!!!! =) Reached Bangkok happy and refreshed...and took a Volvo to our hotel - The Twin Tower Hotel. Nice cosy hotel with friendly staff...Would definitely go back again!! First stop: Bangkok City Centre...There was some many things I was looking forward to...cheap bras, cheap m)phosis, cheap mango....but I was wrong...M)phosis is at least 30% more expensive in Bangkok..Sad sad...Mango was the same price..so there was no point in splurging my THB...bought many cute tanks though!! Got cheated once or twice...But got used to it after awhile... Had porky noodles for lunch and thai BBQ for dinner...nice and cheap....but maybe a little too spicy!!! I think that Thailand is not very halah-friendly..everything has pork in it!! No wonder I seldom see Malays in thailand...After dinner, we went to Lumpini Night Market. Nice touristic spot which reminds me of Holland V and Malaysia's Mont Kiera...Everyone bought something there..We took 4 frigging hours to walked a whole section of the market..By then it was already 1130pm, and we were dead beat!! And to think there are 4 sections in all...There, I heard a very nice Thai song...its nice and it keeps ringing in my head!! I like thai songs and the way they speak...Haha... I like Thai men too!!Went back to the hotel and drank at the lounge..there was supposed to be live music..but when we arrived..the pianist left already..so sad...anyway, we were all abit hungry so we decided to walk out and get some cup noodles...my gosh...thailand cup noodles are delicious!!! Went to bed a little after 1am...I slept sooo sooo soundly...I wish I stay in Thailand every night!!! =)Day 2: Shopping and more shopping!! Itinery: 0800: Breakfast0900: Take Tuk-tuk to MBK 1030: Shopping at MBK for BRAS!! 1600: Went back to hotel for Thai Massage 1830: Set off to Chinatown for bird's nest, seafood and titbitsBreakfast was a chore. There were soo many people at the restaurant. Soo many Singaporeans that I felt like I was in Singapore.. So many Japanese that they got abit irritating...We left for more shopping at MBK on a tuk tuk..that ride was fun..All 4 of us could sit on the tuk-tuk and it somehow reminded me of the Visa card advert.. The driver was serving left and right and it was soo soo fun...The 4 of us kept giggling on the tuk-tuk!! We reached MBK a little too early. So we decided to walk around, in then end, we ended up at Gloria jeans and we had some juices while we waited for the shops to open. We combed MBK level by level and at the last level..I finally found my Wacoal bra shop...I tried many many and bought many many bras..Spent at least 2000THB (~S$80) on my bras!! Haha..I was happy nevertheless, until I wen t into Tokyu Dept Store and saw Wacoal Bras...on sale somemore!! @#$%^&*~!! Nvm, tourists are meant to be cheated..I reminded myself!! Lunch was at the food court, with 400THB, we ordered many dishes and we ate our fill....My favorite was the mango..it was soooo soooo sweet...yummy!!! After shopping for a straight 5hrs+, we decided to head back to the hotel for a full body massage. It was then I met another fucking-moron-son-of-a-bitch-jackass!! This kuku in brown uniform(he is supposed to be a Thailand policemen, but i shall not and will not address him as one cos i despise him) , and he stopped my cabbie because he saw me taking off my seatbelt. He wanted to fine me THB1000, and I argued with him. In the end, he said to give him THB500 and he will not issue me the ticket. The gals at the back seat told me to give him the money and I had no choice but to give it to him!! I dun wanna end up in the police station because I was seen without a safety belt. Anyway. no one offered to share the fine with me..so apparently I had to foot the bill myself...Come to think of it, I should have bargained with him...maybe THB300? If he dun want, then i will pay the summon..no big deal wat!! I hate thailand kukus in brown uniforms!!!Anyway, we headed back to the hotel for a full body massage...Nice!! THB560 for a full one hour massage!! Very very comfy and relaxing!! Just felt abit strange naked knowing there are 3 other gals in the same room!! Michie and Debbie tried traditional thai massage..and I could feel them being moved all over the bed...Haha...After the massage, we headed for Chinatown to buy titbits and eat some bird's nest, sharksfin and seafood. We planned for a cabaret too, but hearing that it was THB600, we decided to spend the money on some other stuff!! We had fish, prawns, mussels and bird's nest at Chinatown, the same stall I went to some years back. The stall still looked the same, and the food still tasted as good!! Paid THB1000 altogether!! Yummy!! We then walked without a motive for more titbits!! Haha..it started raining..and we all more abit sianz so we decided to go back to the hotel for drinks and the live music that we missed the previous night!! We were pretty impressed to see teenagers in big raincoats holding umbrellas to shelter pedestrians across the roads!! I guess it must be some measures taken to reduce road accidents, anyway, it was nice of whoever who tot of it!! A big kissey to you, and thanks for getting a cabbie for us!! =) Drinks was fun, and the pianist was nice too. I loved Elton John and he played Elton JOhn for me!! Although his English wasn't very good, I thought he sounded ok!! Haha..anyway, at 0001am, we said goodnite and went back to bed!! ZzZzZz..........Day 3: Shopping at the Chatuchak MarketWoke up early to take van transfer to Karnmanee Palace. Day 3's aim was to go shop at Chatuchak for the whole day!! The first impression of the Karnmanee Hotel was that it was very "thai".. It was not as budget as I imagined it to be...so it was a good sign!! We left very very quickly to go to Chatuchak as we were all anxious to do more shopping!! It was raining and the hotel staff were nice enough to go out in the rain to get a cab in for us!! We were all so touched!! Anyway, when we went to Chatuchak, it was still wet!! But shopping was soo soo fun, because stuff were sooo sooo mmuch cheaper?? Singaporeans were everywhere, and I really hated the way they stare at you when they knew that you are also a fellow Singaporean!! Aiyo, what's so nice to see?? Never see S'poreans b4 mahz?? Duh!! Anyway, I bought many tees, racer tops and accessories!! But it was very humid and stuffy, so after a while, everyone got a little fustrated and irritable. We walked pass a nice hut which provided leg massage for THB300!! All of us agreed to splurge on massage again!! The staff were friendly and fun...I tried to sing them the Thai song that I kept hearing over the radio and described to them how the singer looked like. They all wrecked their brains to help me figure out who the hell that was. After a while, when I suddenly remember the tune, I hummed it to them and they all got so excited!! Haha...we laughed soo loudly that everyone started staring at us!! Haha..it was really fun!! After the long day, we decided to head back to the hotel. But no cabbie knew where the hell our hotel was, I tried at least 10 cabs b4 we found a cabbie who "knew" where the hotel was!! Well, at least we got back safely!! Dinner was at BigC Centre. We ate at a restaurant which was like Simply Thai, only the prices are cheaper and the food sooo sooo much nicer!! We had Tim Yum Kung, Mama noodles, crispy squid, mango salad (my fave) and freezy frosties ...Yummy!! All for only THB700!! After that was shopping at the BigC supermarket, something like Carrefour!! I bought two Triumph bras and some nice titbits and more mangoes!! =) Anyway, that bra sales girl was funny, when she wanted to ask Deb if she wanted padded bra, she asked, "you want big big?? or small small??" Haha....Went back to the hotel to watch TV, talk cock and then eat mangoes!! Yummy yum!!Day 4: Shopping at Chatuchak and Back to SinagporeDay 4's aim is to buy stuff that we did not buy yesterday! Spent about half an hour locating stores!! I did not buy much, just a bag for my aunty!! It was stuffy and humid again, making me irritable, again!! Oh yah, and I made an Angora rabbit sneeze like nobody's business!! I blew some air on it and then it started sneezing and sneezing...haha..oh my!! It was actually allergic to me!! Haha...Shitzus were only selling at THB2100=SGD80+, even b4 bargaining!! I want a dog!! I want!!After a while. we all got too tired so we left earlier then expected. Went back to the hotel to catch a short nap b4 heading to the airport!! Our flight was at 1645hrs!! Missing home already!! Haha..had KFC as lunch b4 we boarded the plane. While having lunch, we kept hearing "Singapore Singapore" over the sound system!! Apparently only Singaporeans needed to be reminded to board airplanes? There were really soo many people who were late for their flights. Yes we were laughing at them, until we also were late for our flight!! So we basically ran across the whole terminal to our gate which was at the extreme end of the airport!! **Never fly budget, the gates are crazy, they are soo soo far, you think that you have already reached Singapore by the end of all the walking**Got to see my handsome Chachana on board again. Somehow he does not look as handsome as I first saw him!! =(Reached Sinagpore at around 2000hrs, and I had to take a bus home..my god!! My luggage was insanely crazy with the two bottles of liquor in my backpack and I looked damned stupid carrying the gigantic goodies bag!! Anyway, to save that 20 bucks, I had no choice!! To make things worse, I realised that 858 stops only outside 888 plaza, so I need a 10 mins walk back home!! Gosh, with that 10kg load, I really wished I never went to Thailand. But, anyway, I gritted my teeth and TREKKED through 888 and reached home with tired shoulders!! =(Well, thats about my Thailand trip!! I intend to go Thailand again soon, when my bra supply runs low and when I have more money to shop..so date me yah!! *Muacks*
