The food in Woodlands sucks...
I realise something..
If you are outta job and think that you can become a hawker to earn a living, but you cant't cook for peanuts, make ya way to Woodlands or Bukit Panjang. You definitely won't starve to death!! Food around this 2 area simply CANNOT MAKE IT!! Take Plaza 888 (coffesshop 100m from my house) for example. Food there sucks big time, anytime, all the time. Everytime when we don't have meals at home, I get very upset cos I have to start brooding abt what to eat. Bcos everything is soo not nice lah!!
Dinner today - seafood soup @ S$3.8o.
Includes, 2 tiny crabsticks (3cm long), one tofu cube (2.5 x 2.5 x 2.5cm),
one fish slice (approx. 3 by 4cm), two prawns (one totally inedible cos it looked rotten) and
one sotong slice (abit bigger than the fish).
Actually, there is a nice stall here. Cute Chicken (Ke Ai Ji). My favorite dish being
2pc chicken wing rice @S$2.50. But this champion stall (at 888 plaza only) also have its bad day. The worst being once when the rice served was half-cooked, chicken wings burnt on the outside but bloody on the inside, and it was soo god-damned piping hot, that it burnt 2 holes in the styrofoam box. Extra carcinogenic ingredients for crowning it champ!! **yayz**
Ok, enuff of rantings!! I just felt upset about lousy food..let me know if there is indeed good food in Woodlands ok...
And it is in times like this that I miss AMK hawkers sooo badly..AMK rocks!!
