CrossRoads...
NUS or NTU?? NUS or NTU?? This freaking question has been hurting my poor little brain for the past few days...When people have no choice, they are stuck with whatever they have, no matter how much or how little. I guess I should be lucky, that I am in the position to choose, and not letting others choose me. But now, because of the choices I have, I am at a dilemma.
NUS has accepted me, but it has not invited me for a scholarship yet (
not that they will, but maybe, just maybe, they might *fingers crossed*). NUS is top-20 world-wide, and has a Prof Urs that I can always come back to for my honours,
if I ever make it. But the length of my university studies is still unknown, depending on how well i do, how many modules i take and how i fare for the advance placements. Sounds complicated, yeah it is.....
NTU has accepted me too, and godblessme, granted me scholarship. What does it comes with? $5k each year and all school fees...
ain't I blessed?? But NTU is top 50 in the world...and it definitely does not sound as good as NUS. I may be biased, but thats how the whole world go about. Your certs and your qualifications. Give me the shit about it is who you are that impress the employer...will he just dump my resume out because I am from NTU and not NUS?? But going to NTU, I am going to have a easy life, all is planned out for me. I have lots of frens there (
not forgetting I am going to be BL classmate once again...).
I am tempted with the money and the easy life in NTU, but am greedy for the reputation and whatsoever you call it in NUS.

PS: I am hiding something, something that none has known...I wanna make sure I am right this time..
